Diamond-based radiation detectors
We offer the diamond ionizing radiation detectors of ADII-line for science and industrial purposes. Detectors ADII-line consist of diamond semiconductor plate, installed inside of special BNC-connector.
The dimensions of entry diaphragm are defined by the size of a diamond plate.
Charged particles to be registered pass through a diaphragm and hit a semiconductor plate, thus resulting in radiation induced electron-hole pairs formation in its volume due to interactions with incoming particles.
The detectors are manufactured by orders with the parameters predefined by the customers.
The detectors are especially effective for a high-energy physics research, specifically for registration of the alpha particles, deuterium protons, electrons and heavy ions and applicable as the components of scientific and industrial radiation measuring equipment, medical therapeutic systems, ionizing radiation measuring systems, spectrometric and dosimetric devices, heavy-ion detection, etc.
ADII-1 is designed for registration of energy spectrum of high-energy charged particles.
ADII-2 is designed for conversion of high-energy charged particles flow, emitted by a-source(s) or/and electrons (b-particles), which placed in front of detector’ entry window, into electric impulses (signals) string. ADII-2 is able to work in the single counting mode and in the current mode.
ADII-3 is designed for dosimetric measurement of photon and electron radiation; registration of impulses of x-ray, γ- and β-radiation with a high temporal resolution. Suitable for dose distribution measurements in high energy and electron beams.
The ADII-3/G detectors were tested for conformance with well-known 60003 PTW diamond detectors.
The main of devices parameters are the same for these types of detectors.
ADII-1 line of detectors has been designed to make measurements of energy spectra of alpha-particles, protons, neutrons, heavy ions and to be used in spectrometer devices (i.e. charge-sensitive preamplifiers and multi-channel analyzers).
